It’s that time of year again when I post My Alternative 12 Buzzwords of Christmas. Love them or hate them buzzwords are here to stay and making their way into offices and boardrooms around the globe. I like to dig out and dust off my own festive definitions of some of my favourite overused buzzwords.
1. Social Listening – Santa spends all his spare time on his social media accounts deciding who’ll be on his Naughty or Nice list.
2. Snapping – What Santa gets like on Christmas Eve when the reindeer want to have an early Christmas Party!
3. Snackable Content – Carrots, Cookies, Chips…Check! Gotta make sure Santa’s reindeer are fuelled up for Christmas Eve.
4. Data Driven – The new lead reindeer on Santa’s sleigh.
5. Frictionless Design – Santa’s new underwear are state-of-the-art!
6. Ladder Up – What Santa’s elves need when loading up his sleigh.
7. Intelligent Decision Automation – Who needs Sat Nav when you’re Santa Claus!
8. Deliverables – Oh yes, unlike some people Santa always delivers!
9. Hack – The reindeer who didn’t make the grade!
10. Synergy – Santa, his elves and reindeer making it happen for us all.
11. Virtual Reality – Santa’s state of mind on Christmas Eve!
12. Disruptive – The North Pole on Christmas Day… Party time!!!!
